BOOK A POSTAL REPAIR
To start your postal repair process with iPhix Tech NI, you should make initial contact with us either via email or phone. Our Postal repair customer service team will recommend to you if your device is something that we can repair and if so follow up with details on how to proceed. We do advise that any devices posted will be at your cost and should be sent as a tracked package for your peace of mind. We are delighted to advise that this service will be opened in both our Belfast and Lisburn stores at this stage and the choice is completely in your hands. It is our advice that you send your device in secure packaging. Ask your local postal service for postal insurance options.

THE POSTAL REPAIR PROCESS
Once your device has been received at one of our stores, a member of our team will be in touch to confirm receipt of your device. Following your device's arrival at one of our stores we will do a full diagnosis and give you an accurate quote and time frame for repair for your approval. When approval is given, payment including the cost of return postage will be taken via bank transfer. When we can confirm receipt of payment your device repair service will commence and we will be happy to communicate during any stage of the repair process on the status of your repair.
RETURNING YOUR DEVICE
Following the successful completion of your repair, one of our postal repair customer service team will be in touch to arrange return postage to the address you provide. Your device will be sent back in a tracked post at a cost to be covered by the customer. Our team will provide you with a tracking code for your device from the moment it has been provided to us. Should your device fall under the 'No fix, No fee' category, postage will still be the customer's liability to ensure a sustainable service. Our Postal repair service team will be happy to communicate with you during the return stage of your postal repair to ensure the highest customer service standards.

You can mail your device to us by simply packaging the device securely to one of the following addresses: 89 Castle St, Belfast BT1 1GJ or 68 Bow St, Lisburn BT28 1BN. Be sure to include a brief description of the issue and your contact details so that we can promptly get in touch as soon as your device arrives with us. We recommend using tracked or insured shipping options to ensure your device is safely delivered to us. Remember most postal services will also offer a door collection service for your convenience.
The length of time that your repair will take depends on several factors. The type of device, nature of the issue and the availability of the parts will all play a part in the time frame of the repair. Upon first contact you will be given as much information on the time frame as is possible at that stage. Further information will be detailed as the repair progresses.
The customer is responsible for the postage cost both for sending the device to us and for return postage when the repair is complete. Sending the device will be the sole responsibility of the customer to arrange and pay for. Returning the device will be arranged by iPhix Tech NI, however the cost still is covered by the customer. Payment for this will be taken upon completion of the repair.
Our postal service is designed to handle a wide variety of devices, however their are some restrictions in place to ensure the safety of your device and all personnel involved. Batteries must be safely stored inside the device and not shipped externally from the device. To ensure your item reaches us safely we recommend using bubble wrap and packing out the box you use. You should ensure your device is properly secured and clearly labeled with the correct address from 89 Castle St, Belfast BT1 1GJ or 68 Bow St, Lisburn BT28 1BN. It is advised that you clearly display the return address on the package, to ensure that should your device be lost in transit or delivery cannot be made, it will be returned to you.
We do not directly offer insurance on postal, however as the postage is arrange by the customer you will have the option to purchase insurance for an extra cost at the point of sale for your postage. For return postage, we can quote you for insurance on postal returns, generally this is at the same cost as it would be to purchase insurance when sending the device, iPhix Tech NI do not make any profit from this service.
The customer will cover the cost of sending the device with their courier. Following arrival of the device and repair completion, return postage will be added and paid for at the same time as the repair. The customer will be responsible for the cost of postage, regardless of the success of the repair.
