I need more stars as I am currently typing this from the Macbook Air Tom saved. Here’s what happened: my wee kitten spilt some tea on the keyboard. Apple quoted me £800 in repairs, and an additional £300 + US shipping (?!) for file recovery on a separate hard drive, for a minimum of 3 weeks. A friend recommended iPhix Tech NI, and they immediately took my laptop in after explaining they had a flat fee. Tom was super helpful and transparent throughout the entire process, always double-checking before ordering a part (my keyboard needed replaced – but that was it. Apple told me my logic board was ruined!). Total? 5 days and £180 with iPhix Tech NI. I will never walk into a Genius Bar again and neither should you. iPhix Tech NI all the way.
